Museums nationwide have been asked to help deliver the parcels to families in rural areas.
“A nationwide collaboration has been formed at our call, and the gifts will be taken to every county, where the parents can receive them. It has become a tradition that we launch a Christmas fundraising campaign every year, the aim of which is to help at least 400 families of single parents living in difficult situations in different counties of the country spend the holidays happier,” the Single Parent Center said in their statement.
Museums from different counties have been invited to be the Single Parent Centre’s Christmas ambassadors, delivering the gift packages to their towns. On Monday, the ambassadors delivered the Single Parent Centre Christmas parcels to 200 single-parent families in rural areas before Christmas.
