Gilda Kállai likes to experiment with different techniques and mediums. Her style, as she defines it, is characterised by a surrealist, Dadaist way of creating. Her art is inspired by many things, including the human psyche, nudes, and works by artists such as Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, and Francesco Clemente. She is particularly influenced by Renaissance art: the works of Michaelangelo and Caravaggio, which she encountered during her travels in Rome.
Gilda Kállai started painting more seriously in 2020 after winning and completing the Old Masters Academy online course. In 2022, she participated in the Il Doppio Creativo painting workshop in Rome, and she exhibited her works in Brussels in the European Parliament and the Liszt Institute.
Gilda Kállai’s pictures can be seen until September 20 during the opening hours of the wine bar
