Spanning approximately 13,000 m², Kölcsey Centre opened in 2006 and was designed to combine functionality with aesthetic appeal. Its architecture—featuring generous use of glass, wood (birch, maple, okumé), and open, light-filled spaces—evokes a warm yet grand atmosphere. The centre is named after Kölcsey Ferenc, Hungary’s famed poet, and it is located close to where his original residence once stood.

The “Great Hall” (Nagyterem) accommodates large audiences, while ballrooms, exhibition rooms, and smaller section rooms offer flexibility for more intimate or specialized gatherings. For conferences, there are 17 event rooms, including section rooms that can be combined with the main hall, plus an elegant ballroom.
