She was the political campaign manager of Lajos Kósa (former mayor of Debrecen) from 2005 to 2008. Since then, she has been involved in EU project development and project management at the Kenézy Hospital in Debrecen, where she gained experience as a project manager in several tenders.

She has been a municipal councillor in Debrecen since 2006. Between 2006 and 2010, she was a member of the Urban Development Committee and the Public Proceedings Committee. In the 2010-2014 term, she served as the Fidesz-KDNP parliamentary group leader, chairman of the Committee on Public Affairs, and member of the Property Committee.

She has been Deputy Mayor of Debrecen for Social, Civil and Municipal Relations, Youth and Welfare Policy, Healthcare and Tourism since November 2014.  Since 24 October 2019, she has been Deputy Mayor for Social Affairs in addition to her previous roles.

She is the Co-chairman of the Debrecen Charity Board. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Debrecen Gastronomy Foundation, the Debrecen Hospice House Foundation, and the Debrecen Regional Accident Prevention Committee. She is also a member of the Dr. Gyula Kenézy Circle of Friends.

She is the municipal representative of the 14th constituency of Debrecen.
