Hódos Sports Hall

Debrecen’s top-flight handball and futsal teams play their league matches in the historic building named after Imre Hódos, the city’s Olympic wrestling champion. In recent years, major interior and exterior renovation works have been carried out in the building, which is located next to the Főnix Hall. The 1300-seat facility is connected to the Főnix Hall by an underground corridor. The city provides international-level conditions for events, and the facility regularly hosts other sporting, cultural and social events, such as  proms of Debrecen’s secondary schools and high schools.
