Méliusz Juhász Péter Library

The Méliusz Juhász Péter Library was established in January 2013 by the merger of the Hajdú-Bihar County Library and the Debrecen City Library. The new institution has a dual role: on the one hand, it serves the whole county – it operates the Library Service System in forty-one settlements with less than 5,000 inhabitants – and on the other hand, it serves the city. In addition to the central library, the citizens of Debrecen can access its services through ten branch libraries and six library points. The Méliusz Library is present in all parts of the county and the city: close to the reader.
