Delizsánsz Exhibit Hall

In 1980, the first exhibition hall was opened in Debrecen, fulfilling the will of Dr. Rezső Soó, two-time Kossuth Prize-winning botanist and academic, and every year new collections of motifs are exhibited from the 225,000-strong philatelic collection bequeathed to the city and entrusted to the care of the Stamp Museum. In 1995, the Hungarian Post Office Zrt. The exhibition in the Delizsánsz Exhibition Hall, built in the building of the Debrecen Directorate of the Hungarian Postal Service, shows the history of postal and telecommunications in Debrecen, and original objects and documents can be studied on display cases and wall charts around the post office in the centre of the hall.
