The joint professional event of the City of Debrecen, EDC Debrecen Urban and Economic Development Center and Trans-Sped Kft. brought a significant step forward in the development of the logistics sector.

At the event, which took place in the Debrecen Logistics Centre and Industrial Park, the participants had the opportunity to visit the company’s newest warehouse complex, which is 5,100 square metres in size and equipped with state-of-the-art warehouse technology, and was made possible with the support of the Hungarian state. The warehouse hall has a separate gallery section, 8 docking gates and a 2-level gate to facilitate efficient working.

The office section has a renewable energy and heating system, state-of-the-art LED lighting, and large roof domes to allow natural light in. The warehouse and logistics services will significantly contribute to the city’s economic development and the region’s competitiveness.

Trans-Sped Kft. and GYSEV CARGO Zrt. expressed their intention to cooperate in the future to provide a high level of quality service to the customers’ needs in the logistics challenges in Debrecen and the region.

“Today, it is becoming more and more common that due to the size and growth of the Debrecen economy, those who are here in Debrecen see great potential in the companies and enterprises that develop here,” Mayor of Debrecen László Papp said.

“Sooner or later, the latest 21st-century green technology will allow transport to be specifically included among the green sectors,” MP László Pósán pointed out.
