On the 30th of September 2023 (Saturday), from 4.00 pm, the two-way traffic order will be restored on the section between Szabó Lőrinc Street 3 and József Attila Street.
Repairs to the road structure and kerbs were carried out locally, and the new asphalt wearing course was laid.
On the 2nd (Monday) and 3rd (Tuesday) of October 2023, weather permitting, asphalt milling will be carried out at the roundabout on Szabó Lőrinc Street after the morning rush hour. On the 4th of October (Wednesday), the existing manhole covers will be levelled and the new asphalt wearing course will be laid on the 5th of October (Thursday) and on the 6th of October (Friday). The milling works will start on the Babits Mihály Street side and will continue on the other side. During the works, the contractor will close the pavement in alternating half-lane widths, where temporary traffic light guidance will be installed.
Babits Mihály Street will remain a dead-end street throughout the works, with no access via the roundabout.
During the construction works, drivers are kindly requested not to use the road out of habit, but to follow the temporary road signs.
