Since 2015, there have been 20 three-on-three competitions in Kossuth Square, the most of any host city.
Continuing the annual tradition, Debrecen will welcome the finest talents in the 3×3 basketball world during the last week of August. Alongside the World Championships, the city’s main square, set against the stunning backdrop of the Reformed Great Church, will host the World Tour Masters, showcasing the top-ranked professional teams.
The mayor also announced that the City of Debrecen and FIBA have extended the agreement on the organisation of 3×3 basketball events until 2026.
