For one week, the Agora Science Adventure Center (Agóra Tudományos Élményközpont) awaits those interested in natural sciences in the shopping centre on Csapó Street.

At the Science Fair event series, among other things, visitors can try out smart devices and interactive games, but they can also meet robots including a robot dog. Agora has moved into the Fórum Debrecen for a week, where children can play digital interactive games and logic islands, among other things. The aim is to introduce and engage young people with science, so they occasionally present their work with partners at external venues.

“We would like to show you the full range of what we have to offer. Experimental demonstrations for groups will take place at regular intervals. We organise different activities, we have our interactive tools here, and we have also brought the WATCH tools,” Béla Somogyi, Managing Director of Agora Science Adventure Center, said.

This is not the first time the business centre has hosted the event, which can be seen as an off-site, extraordinary teaching hour.

“There is a lot of interest; this is an exhibition where children can learn about science and environmental protection in a playful way”, Ajtony Átányi, the Forum’s centre manager, pointed out.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen István Puskás said that Debrecen is becoming an important centre for science, education and the economy and that the young people who will build this future are the ones to whom this exhibition is most relevant.

The interactive exhibition is open until 22nd of October on the shopping centre’s lower level.
