Exhibition entitled “I’ll tell you in the language of painting” is opening at the Simonffy Street Youth Centre on the 4th of March at 4.30 p.m. The exhibition will be opened by Managing Director of DEMKI János D. Halász, and President of the Association for the Great Forest of Debrecen Ibolya Marincsák with the contribution of Napsugár Bartha.
For János Maksai, love is the key word. He feels comfortable in the world and does what he loves: painting. For the painter from Debrecen, creating is the most natural part of life. His life is usually predictable: he gets up in the morning and goes to paint… And for recreation he sometimes does gardening and is active around the house. He has been painting for more than fifty years, and in that time he has put thousands of paintings on canvas. Some of them are quite small, but some are 150×320 cm, which he assembled from three pieces, because otherwise they would not have fit into the painter’s studio.
