Rendezvous in Vienna. This is the title of an exhibition of the work of photographer Ouriel Morgensztern that opened at the Orthodox Synagogue on Pásti Street on Monday.
The artist himself was present at the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition, which includes more than thirty large photographs, documents the richness and diversity of Vienna’s long-standing Jewish heritage. The photographer’s images also reflect the community’s celebrations, everyday life, and special family events.
According to the organisers, the exhibition is an excellent opportunity to promote a positive dialogue between Jews and non-Jews and to experience belonging to a community regardless of denomination.
The exhibition is open by appointment until the 15th of December at the Pásti Street Orthodox Synagogue.
