According to the information, the National Center for Public Health and Pharmaceuticals (NNGYK), in consultation with the Professional College of Infant and Pediatric Medicine, decided that in the 2024/2025 flu season, for the immunisation of children under the age of 3, flu vaccine will be provided from the centrally procured vaccine to the large pediatric for centers.
“Accordingly, from next Monday, the vaccine will be available not only at children’s general practitioners, but also at the Heim Pál National Institute of Pediatrics, as well as at the institutions of the Semmelweis University, the University of Debrecen, the University of Szeged and the University of Pécs” as announced.
In the institutions where children living with various chronic diseases are cared for, parents can also request the vaccination of young children belonging to the risk group.
