Agora Science Centre will be closed from 21st of December  to the 1st of January, but will be open to visitors on Thursday, the 2nd of January, and Friday, the 3rd of January from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

On Saturday, the 4th of January, from 10.30 am, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of sounds. As part of the educational program series, exciting scientific adventures await children. Participants can gain a glimpse into the mysteries of various scientific fields during the one-hour sessions.

How is sound created? Why do we love music? What was the very first musical instrument?

The answers are being looked for to these questions with the help of science. At the educational session, young and old can encounter the physical properties of acoustics, the history and types of musical instruments. During the program, visitors can try out various musical instruments, and are invited to enjoy music together in an interactive setting. The program is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Visitors can participate in the program with an entrance ticket to the Agora Science Centre. The Centre can only accept a limited number of visitors for the session, so it is worth registering in advance at the following email address: regisztracio@agoradebrecen.hu.
