Last year, for the first time, Lóránd Heit, a folk musician and winemaker, and his friends organised a programme entitled “Honour to the Guardians of Hungarian Culture”. At the time, the concert was a tradition-building event, and that the plan was to organise it year after year.
Continuing their plan, a large-scale concert, entitled “Living Traditions of Lowland Weddings”, will be held again this year at the Süveg Street DEMKI Community Centre on Sunday, the 19th of January at 4:00 p.m.
The festive concert will feature the Knight of Hungarian Culture, Zsigmond Gyönyörű, the Figula Banda and the Debrecen Folk Ensemble.
The main patron of the evening will be Director of Professional Development at National Institute of Culture, Erika Juhász, and the patron will be the CEO of DEMKI János Halász.
The concert is free to attend.
