In 2025, the World Tour series in 3×3 basketball will be back for its 14th edition, bringing together the world’s best men’s players. On Tuesday, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) officially announced the tournament schedule, which also includes Debrecen, which has become the stronghold of the sport over the past decade. This year, Masters tournaments will be held in the heart of 15 cities across three continents, bringing the world’s most dynamic street sport to millions of fans.

The series will kick off for the fourth consecutive year in Utsunomiya, Japan, on the last weekend in April, but the World Tour will also return to previous locations such as Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, Marseille, Shanghai, Edmonton and Debrecen. There are also some “first-time” venues, with Vienna, which has hosted both the World and European Championships, standing out. This time, the Grand Final will be held in a new venue, Manama, at the end of November, while the capital of Bahrain will host the Masters for the third time this year.

“We are thrilled to present the list of host cities for the 2025 FIBA World Tour, confident that these world-class cities will be the perfect venues for tournaments and will showcase the fast pace and festival atmosphere of 3×3 basketball. We are looking forward to building on the milestones of previous years to further strengthen our position as the fastest growing street sport,” FIBA 3×3 Executive Director  Alex Sanchez said in the announcement.

As usual, Debrecen will host the event in the last week of August following the carnival week.

But, as in previous years, the organisers are preparing for 2025 with a series of events in the arena in front of the Great Church, which are still being negotiated.
