A farmers’ market with the widest range of products in the city, the Churchyard Market opens on the third Saturday of every month at 8.00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Debrecen Great Church Congregation Centre, at 2 Leány Street. The next time it opens its doors on the 15th of February.
At the market local farmers and artisans sell their products at reasonable prices in the heart of the city centre offering smoked pork products, meats, cheeses, jams, vegetables, pickles, artisan gifts and much more.
There will also be “slambuc” traditional, a Hungarian dish made from potatoes, pasta and bacon cooked in a pot), and a book exchange point available. Visitors can choose from hundreds of books, any of the books can be exchanged for another book of their own or taken away for a symbolic donation.
