The Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) Training Centre in Debrecen is accepting applications for the Junior Training Programme of the University Programme from students who will finish their secondary school studies this year and continue them as full-time students at the University of Debrecen from September until 29 June.

The free talent management programme, which can be carried out alongside the university, offers a unique opportunity for conscious career building and personal development.

One of the special features of the Junior Training is that every week a different international expert will hold exclusive small group sessions for students at the Grand Hotel Aranybika in the centre of Debrecen.

Participants will have direct contact with outstanding representatives from different fields, who will provide them with valuable advice and to help them achieve future success. The aim of the programme is to create an inspiring and supportive community in Debrecen, which will help students to build their careers consciously and develop their personal skills. The training aims to develop an effective and open mindset and improve written and oral skills.

“Our aim is for students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. The direct interaction with international experts gives every student the opportunity to build a career on the best foundations,” MCC’s Director of Professional and Educational Affairs, Milan Constantinovits said.

The University Programme is available in seven cities in the Carpathian Basin: Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Pécs, Szeged and Cluj-Napoca. MCC’s training centre in Debrecen, one of the country’s leading university cities, offers high-quality training, study abroad and study scholarships, and free dormitory accommodation in the Grand Hotel Aranybika.

Students from Debrecen can study at the world’s leading universities through international scholarships and internship programmes, including partner institutions such as Modul University in Vienna, ESMT Berlin, Oxford, Cambridge, the University of Buckingham and Quinnipiac University in the United States.

And through the MCC’s headquarters in Brussels, they can also gain direct insight into the EU decision-making process. The course is flexible and can be combined with studies at the University of Debrecen, offering students exceptional career opportunities.

The application process consists of an online application form, a written part (logic and vocabulary test), a presentation on one of the predefined topics and an oral presentation and discussion. The deadline for applications is Sunday 29 June 2025.
