In December, the construction of a cycle path in Mikepércs  was completed. Only one section of the complete cycle path between Debrecen and Oradea was missing at that time.  So now you can cycle along the entire route between the two twin cities, with a  new resting place built in the centre of Mikepércs located next to the church garden.

Cyclists are also provided with benches, a pavilion that provides shade and protection from the rain, and an assembly station. Several tools fixed with cables and two pumps can be used at the rest point, where a colourful KRESZ (Uniform Regulation of Road Provisions) course was created for the children. Valuables are guarded by security cameras.

Asphalted parking lots have also been created next to the rest area.

The entire investment cost 23 and a half million forints.

The rest area will be handed over on Saturday, and children will be welcomed on the mini KRESZ track between 3. 00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. with contests and gifts.
