SPAR Hungary is working hard to give its customers a more pleasant and modern environment in its stores.
In order to achieve this, it builds new stores and transforms existing ones, devoting billions of forints to these investments every year. This is what happened on Mikepércsi Road, close to Debrecen’s dynamically developing southern business zone, where a new INTERSPAR store with a floor area of 2,600 square metres was opened in a modern, family-friendly area thanks to a HUF 3 billion investment.
It is no coincidence that SPAR chose this area of the city as the location for its latest INTERSPAR hypermarket, as a number of companies with a large workforce have recently settled in the area and the number of young families with several children moving to the agglomeration has also increased.
The new INTERSPAR store at Mikepércsi Road 6 has a floor area of 2,600 square metres and is the first to open a non-food section, where customers can choose from thousands of products ranging from household appliances to DIY items and clothing in a clear sales area designed according to the chain’s latest design. From here, the path leads to the fresh departments, where coolers with packaged fresh deli and meat products beside the service counters offer a quick, no-wait shopping experience. With its freshly baked and hot meals, the SPAR to Go unit is a good choice for a hearty breakfast, light lunch or dinner.
Passing through the bakery, fruit and vegetable section, and the milk and frozen department at the end of the shop, customers finally reach the checkout area, where both traditional and self-service checkouts are available.
The new INTERSPAR has an attractive exterior and an easy-to-navigate interior, offering customers a choice of more than 20,000 items.
The range focuses on affordable, high-quality SPAR private label products, offering wallet-friendly solutions in almost all product groups, including the popular SPAR enjoy. convenience foods.
The store, which employs 66 staff, is also equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and refrigeration, focusing on environmentally friendly operation. Those arriving by car can park their vehicle in 140 parking spaces, but the area is also easily accessible by well-organised public transport.
