The vehicles attracted a lot of attention on the streets of Debrecen, as they marched from the Great Forest to Kossuth Square to line up in front of the Great Church.
The event, organised by the Vespa Club Debrecen Sports Club, was attended by more than 200 people from all over the country and abroad, including from Sicily, Serbia and Slovakia.
The participants were welcomed by Mayor László Papp. He stressed that it was a fantastic sight to see so many Vespas in the city’s main square. Deputy Mayor István Puskás and municipal representative Edina Szilágyi also enjoyed a tour of the scooters.
Many people admired the Vespa bikes, took photos and even selfies with them.
As part of the programme, a fundraising event was organised for Ádin Kneifel, a young boy suffering from a serious illness.
