The Aquaticum Debrecen Strand will open on the 27th of May, and preparations are already underway.
For now, the pools at the Aquaticum Debrecen Strand stand empty, but this will only be the case for a little while longer. Work is already in full swing to get everything ready to welcome bathers. The pools have been drained after the winter season and are now being cleaned.
The pools are being cleaned with a superficial surface cleaning, with several passes through a given pool test. Then disinfection takes place, but not only the pool, but the entire mechanical system is disinfected, so these systems have to be rotated,” Tibor Holléry, director of bathing services at Aquaticum Debrecen Kft., said.
Almost 6500 cubic metres of water are needed to fill the 16 pools. The mechanical equipment is also checked, as well as the cash desks, the access control system and the IT systems for tenants.
“The whole summer is planned to alternate between night swimming and party programmes for young adults and young people. And on alternate weekends, we are preparing family programmes, interesting quizzes and attractions with different attractions”, Dániel Kovács, marketing director of Aquaticum Debrecen Kft.. pointed out.
The Aquaticum Debrecen Strand will be open from the 27th of May, 2023. A children’s day programme is being prepared for visitors on the opening weekend.
