In the courtyard of the Aquaticum Indoor Aquapark the construction work is now complete, and the children have taken over their brand new playground, with a giant boat in the middle of the playground.
In the playground children can also enjoy a giant sandpit, a rope pyramid, a play castle and the indispensable slides, swings and bouncy toys. Kids can balance on a special surfboard or exercise on the multifunctional motion-promoting hexagon before heading to the main attraction, the Adventure Boat. They can run onto the boat over the bridge, climb up the ropes or even go underneath through the tunnels. There’s an incredible amount of detail to discover on board.
“We have tried to put these toys together with the winning bidder so that they are specifically designed for this. It has something to do with water, as there is a big boat behind us, and there are many parts that provide interactive play opportunities for the little ones,” managing director of Aquaticum Debrecen Ltd. Lajos Fazekas said.
Once the children find the playground, they are guaranteed to have a blast. Until then, parents can relax on the sun loungers.
“Our playground has been completely revamped, some of our old elements have been renovated, but we’ve also tried to incorporate new elements that will give both younger and older children enough excitement between slides. We would like this playground to give children new experiences in addition to the all-day water attractions, while parents can enjoy a well-deserved break with their children close by, in the comfort of their sunbeds. We have fulfilled a long-standing wish to renew this area and we are confident that our young guests will enjoy using it as much as we and the designers have dreamed of,” Director of Spa Services Tibor Holléry said.
Aquaticum is preparing another big surprise for which visitors don’t have to wait that long.
The Indoor Aquapark playhouse will be renewed, giving a full view of the whole bath above the pools while children play.
Aquaticum is waiting for its guests in summer with programmes, attractions and a lot of fun.
