The bus will start its journey in Hajdú-Bihar  and the surrounding counties later this month. Those who board will be provided with information by employees of the German automotive company, they can take part in a test drive, and they can even apply for open positions. The BMW Group Plant Debrecen is currently looking for future colleagues primarily for production.

Passengers of the BMW Career Bus can also try out the different work processes of production. The Debrecen factory currently employs 2,000 people. They are currently recruiting primarily for the production department, for electrical technicians, engineers, maintenance workers and process technicians.

“I can recommend to everyone that they feel free to apply, give it a try, because it’s worth it! You can say that you can be in any profession, in any position, because there are many open positions, there will be many operators  needed to assemble the cars,” electrical engineer at the BMW Group  Plant Debrecen, Róbert Gyöngy  pointed out.

In the coming months, you can board the career bus not only on the streets of Debrecen, but also in the surrounding settlements. In this way, the German automotive company brings opportunities to prospective employees almost to home. “The bus goes where the people are. We visit even the smallest settlements in the county to meet people. We bring information and the opportunities that await them close to home,” CEO Hans-Peter Kemser said.

Mayor László Papp said at  introducing the career bus, ” The BMW bus, which embodies the world of learning and work, will carry the corporate culture, knowledge and innovative ability that can be very attractive to young people. And thanks to BMW’s presence in Debrecen, I can safely say that Debrecen promises a lifelong career for young people,” he emphasised.

The BMW Career Bus will set off this month and will visit the settlements of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén counties, in addition to Hajdú-Bihar.
