Antall József and Széchenyi streets will be closed in the evening hours on the 21st and 22nd of June 2023 due to the shooting of a feature film.
The road scenes are two days in the making.
On the first day of the shooting ( Wednesday evening and Thursday at dawn), the entire area of Antall József Street – Tisza István Street – Széchenyi Street junction will be closed. In addition, the entire width of Antall József Street between Miklós Street and Széchenyi Street, Tisza István Street between Széchenyi Street and Simonffy Street, and the section of Széchenyi Street between Nyugati Street and Piac Street will be partially closed.
Between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., all traffic on Széchenyi Street will be prohibited, except for regular buses, and between 11:30 p.m. and 4 a.m., there will be a complete restriction.
The end of Arany János Street and Mácsai Sándor Street, which connect to Antall József Street and Széchenyi Street on the affected section, will also be closed. In order to ensure accessibility to residents’ properties, Mácsai Sándor Street from Arany János Street and Arany János Street from Külsővásártér and Piac Street will be converted into a dead-end street during this period.
On the second day of the shooting (Thursday evening, Friday dawn), the section of Antall József Street between Miklós Street and Széchenyi Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. The end of Arany János Street towards Antall József Street, which connects to the affected site, will also be closed. There will be a complete closure between Mácsai Sándor Street and Antall József Street, while Arany János Street from Piac Street will be converted into a dead-end street.
During the filming, there will be a stopping ban in the streets concerned. Drivers are asked not to drive out of habit but to respect the temporary traffic regime. After the filming, the traffic flow will revert to normal.
