This year again, the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre (abbreviated as DSZC in Hungarian) and the “Let’s Teach for Hungary” Programme (Tanítsunk Magyarországért Program) are offering summer camps for young people in the spirit of career orientation and competence development.

The Let’s Teach for Hungary Programme, launched in 2018, supports primary school pupils in Hungary with university mentors and support from organizations, institutions, and companies. The Debrecen Vocational Training Centre joined in September 2022, offering career guidance and support to university mentors and participating pupils in small villages.

Debrecen Vocational Training Centre is the first to offer sleepaway camps for primary school pupils, aiming to turn stress into a positive experience. The University of Debrecen and the Centre are the first to join the Let’s Teach for Hungary Programme. The goal is to have 2,000 mentors working with 10,000 young people by 2030, ensuring they succeed in education and work, and find their place in life.

Debrecen Vocational Training Centre aims to support students with career guidance and future vision through summer camps, introducing them to university, local companies, and culture. These camps are part of Debrecen’s Caring City programme, allowing parents to offer useful programs for young people during summer holidays.
