The specialties spiced up with European Championship matches attracted a lot of visitors at the Debrecziner Gourmet Festival over the weekend. Under the trees of the Great Forest, the gastronomic event was waiting for food lovers for the eighth time. This year, the restaurants have created their tasty offerings based on the four elements.
Roasted meatballs, pizza slices and cocktail specialities were also waiting for the lovers of gastronomy in the Great Forest.
The event has been held in Debrecen for eight years, and some people have become regulars.
This year, the Michelin star also shone in the forest, as restaurant Babel Budapest also moved out into the green. According to the team there was a lot of interest in the stand, and they were grateful that so many people from Debrecen were curious to see what they had prepared in the spirit of the four elements.
The organisers of the festival did not forget about the fans of the national football team either, they could follow the European Championship matches on the projector while enjoying delicious snacks.
At this year’s Debrecziner Gourmet Festival, 35 stands offered a diverse range of creative cuisine.
