Local services
Due to the received public requests, passenger count data and to provide simpler information for passengers, the numbering and departure time of several lines will change from the start of operations on Monday, the 7th of October.
Trolleybuses
Trolleybus 3
Taking into account public interests, trolleybus No. 3 between Segner Square and Kassai Road will operate with the 3A sign.
Trolleybus 4
In response to requests from the public, trolleybus 4 will be running again from the 7th of October on weekends and public holidays. With the resumption of service 4, public transport connections between the Dobozi housing estate and the city centre will be improved at weekends.
Buses
Line group 10
From the 7th of October, bus 10A will be discontinued and replaced by bus 10 from 2:00 p.m. and 10:50 p.m. from Nagyállomás. The change will improve service to the Vezér Street housing estate and the Science Park area.
Buses 14, 14Y
Based on passenger feedback received, bus 14 from Tégláskert Street at 7:13 a.m. on weekdays will now run as 14Y to Doberdó Street. The changes will improve the connection between Tégláskert and the city centre.
Line group 30, new route 49
In order to simplify passenger information, the company is merging the 30I and 30N back-up services with the 49 service. The new line 49, which will connect Nagyállomás with the Bánk district, will run on the route Nagyállomás – Homokkerti flyover – Szabó Kálmán Street – Galamb street – Vágóhíd Street – Diószegi Street – Bánk. Following the changes, peak-time service in Homokkert and Szabó Kálmán Street area will be improved.
Line group 36
There is only a minimal difference between the weekday peak-hour service of 36E and service 36. Therefore, line 36E service from Alsójózsai Street at 6:50 a.m. will continue to run with line number 36 and will stop at all stops. After the change, line 36E will be discontinued.
Bus 44
Passenger counts show an increase in passenger numbers during the morning peak period. During the school term, at 7:10 a.m. on weekdays, school holidays, at 6:10 a.m., 6:40 a.m. and 7:10 a.m. on weekdays, extra services will be operated from Nagyállomás on bus line 44.
Line group 46
There is no significant difference in journey times between the fast and normal services of line 46. Therefore, 46E services will continue to run with the numbering 46 and 46 EY buses with the numbering 46Y. The routes of the services remain unchanged.
In order to provide an even more complete service to the Industrial Park on Határ Road, the timetable for buses 46 and 46H will be changed from the start of operation on the 7th of October.
On working days, bus 46H will depart from Határ Road at 06:05 a.m. instead of 06:00 a.m. On weekdays, an extra 46 bus service will leave Inter Tan-Ker PLC at 2:10 p.m. for Nagyállomás.
