Donation from SEMCORP Hungary Kft. helps 50 families in need

In the spirit of shared social responsibility, SEMCORP Hungary Kft.’s generous donation will improve the advent and Christmas of 50 families in need in Debrecen.

In addition to offering 50 packages of non-perishable food through the Debrecen Charity Board, SEMCORP Hungary Kft. is also giving toys and sweets to the children of families in need.

On behalf of the donor, Vice President Csaba Wolf personally visited a family with eight children in need and handed over the company’s donation on the 3rd of December, 2024. In the case of the other families, the DMJV Family and Child Welfare Center staff will ensure that the gifts reach their destination as soon as possible. The families that have received the donation are connected to the DMJV Family and Child Welfare Center and struggle with housing difficulties and life management problems in their everyday lives. Although the parents have a low income, they try to work continuously to ensure the well-being of their families and to be active, valuable members of society. With the current support, the Christmas of 73 young children aged 0-3, 14 preschoolers and 62 primary school children can be more beautiful.

The personal handover in Debrecen was attended by Csaba Wolf, Vice President of SEMCORP Hungary Kft., Aurélia Orosz, Head of the DMJV Family and Child Welfare Center, and Edit Bódor, President of the Debrecen Charity Board, on the 3rd of December, 2024.

In addition to the donation in Debrecen, the company will also deliver 50-50 non-perishable food packages to families in need in Téglás and Hajdúböszörmény, in which a total of 253 children will receive gifts.
