The International School of Debrecen (ISD) has been providing quality education at all levels, from kindergarten to secondary school, since September 2019. The school provides international-level education for both international and Hungarian students in a modern and professional environment in Debrecen-Pallag, aiming to equip them with essential skills and knowledge that give them a foundation for a successful future in higher education and beyond.

Students from early childhood to young adulthood (3-18 years) are provided with the opportunity to learn from a broad and balanced curriculum. The school offers three different programmes based on the student’s age group, including Early Childhood, Elementary School and Upper School. Deutsche Schule Debrecen (German Primary School of Debrecen) offers a German-language curriculum for students in grades 1-4, with native German-speaking teachers.

Hungarian pupils will learn literature and grammar in Hungarian and according to the Hungarian curriculum, while foreign children will also be able to learn Hungarian as a foreign language. The children will receive a German certification that is equivalent to one that can be obtained in Germany.
The language of teaching is English.
