A farmers’ market with the widest range of products in the city, the Churchyard Market opens on the third Saturday of every month at 8.00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Debrecen Great Church Congregation Centre, at 2 Leány Street. The next time it opens its doors on the 18th of January.
At the market local farmers and artisans sell their products at reasonable prices in the heart of the city centre offering smoked pork products, meats, cheeses, jams, vegetables, pickles, artisan gifts and much more.
At the first occasion of the year, visitors are invited to enjoy a traditional pig feast, and the donations received support the diaconal service.
