The National Philharmonic Orchestra will come to Debrecen on the 18th of January as part of the Philharmonia Hungary season at the Debrecen Reformed University Church. About the music pieces:
Mozart’s Gran Partita is a large-scale serenade for wind instruments, showcasing emotion, fantasy, human grandeur, and transcendence. Known for its unique solutions and idioms, it’s a bohemian, personal, and dignified concert that explores new waters and explores new musical forms.
The Last Dream of the Virgin, a colorful and emotionally transcendent piece by Massenet, is performed in the second half of the concert. Originally an introduction to the Virgin Mary legend, it depicts the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and serves as a prelude to heaven.
Schoenberg’s Glorious Ego features strings and a poem by Richard Dehmel, depicting a passionate couple resolving issues like betrayal, childbirth, and repentance. Listening to this work may inspire forgiveness for relationship grievances.
