The selection from the MBH Bank Collection, which dates back to the 1990s, will be shown for the first time in Debrecen.
One of the most important issues for humanity in the 21st century is nature. How do we relate to this wonderful resource, how do we look after it, how do we help it to renew itself? The relationship with nature is multifaceted, it can be seen as the basis of life, as the raw material of civilization, as an aesthetic experience and as a higher universal connection.
As a means of socialising art, MBH Bank aims to make its collection of works of art continuously available to the public throughout Hungary. In this way, emblematic pieces of art history do not disappear in the sink of a corporate collection, but remain part of the cultural fabric by becoming visible in the outstanding art institutions of major cities through curatorial concepts.
The first step is the realisation of an exhibition at MODEM in Debrecen.
The exhibition will be opened by art historian Brigitta Muladi on the 14th of June at 7.00 p.m. Deputy CEO of MBH Bank András Puskás, and Executive Director of MODEM Kata Vizi will give a welcome speech at the event.
The exhibition is curated by Zoltán Rockenbauer.
The opening event is free of charge.
Date: from 14 June
Location: MODEM
