A gospel concert awaits guests on the 23rd of May in Debrecen Reformed University Church from 7.00 p.m. The concert is free to attend, but advance registration is required. To register, email egyetemitemplom@reformatus.hu.
Gospel is a distinctive expression of the vernacular sacred vocal tradition in Western culture, as much at home in worship settings and personal confessions of faith as on concert halls and festival stages. László Fassang and the St. Ephrem Male Choir began making their own arrangements of classical gospel and spirituals for Hammond organ and male voices 10 years ago.
