The University of Debrecen will organise the Alumni Festival 2024 for the first time on the 28th of  September. The event is open to former and current students and staff of the institution, as well as their relatives or friends. The event is free of charge, but registration is required. Registration Registration for the event can be submitted via website regisztracio.unideb.hu. When filling in the registration form, it is obligatory to enter the individual alumni identification number (e.g. ALUM012345), which is assigned to alumni members who are registered as members of the DE Alumni Community on alumni.unideb.hu. The ID number can be viewed in the profile section after logging in to the website. The Thermal & Beer evening and night programmes, the first outdoor relaxation of autumn awaits visitors again on the 28 of September. Activities and programmes Sauna World  The Sauna World also has extended opening hours until 11.00 p.m. with special sauna sessions. Sauna masters are preparing for this special evening with fun-filled show infusions. Sauna programmes cost  900 HUF/person/programme. There are limited seats,  please register at szaunavilag@aquaticum.hu. Local public transport company,  DKV PLC, has been serving passengers since 1884. On the occasion of its 140th anniversary, the company will open its doors and hold an open day on Sunday, the 29th of September at its premises on Salétrom Street.  The event is free of charge. In keeping with tradition, this year we will again organise the MagdaFest, named after Hungarian novelist, Magda Szabó, focusing on women artists and fates. The festival, created in honour of Magda Szabó, will be held for the seventh time in 2024. The event will focus on women's creativity, women's role in society, and women as artists. Within the festival programmes, the opera-operetta evening titled The Mysteries Of the Female Soul by Katalin Benedekffy is awaiting the audience on the 4th of october at 7.00 p.m. with guest performer Péter Balczó  and Szabolcs Sándor on piano.
