Comics lovers are welcome on the 23rd of  November at the Csokonai Grammar School at 12  Békessy Béla Street. Thousands of comics, figures, manga or fantasy books are looking for their new owners. The organisers would like to draw your attention to the fact that you can be part of the event even if you just want to browse, look around or buy. There will also be a raffle draw, where you can win better and better items. The entrance is free. Interesting facts about comics that not everyone may have known: Stan Lee created a hero that the public would hate, but eventually fall in love with. That hero is Tony Stark. Hulk was originally grey, but due to a printer malfunction, he was given a green colour. Journalist (Clark) Kent does not exist in DC comics. But while he's the real Superman in DC, he's an ordinary journalist in Marvel. Venom was originally a pregnant woman who joined an alien symbiote just before giving birth. Csokonai Theatre invites all their audience members to the guided tours of Csokonai Theatre. These tours, led by our actors, will reveal the hidden spaces and secrets of the nearly 160-year-old building that are usually concealed from the public. Following the completion of the renovation work in 2023, the theatre tours commenced immediately, offering insights not only into the building’s history but also into the restoration process. The songs, sounds and instruments all become characters in a fairy tale, whose adventures children can shape with their ideas. The excitement of Christmas fills the air as the Debrecen Advent Festival kicks off on the 29th of  November in the city’s beating heart. Debrecen Advent brings a festive spirit to the city; the main square is transformed into a magical winter wonderland of Christmas lights! Debrecen Advent will be hosting the following events this week. 29 November 9.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m. Kindergartners' Christmas tree decorations at the Advent Fair Kindergarten children in Debrecen decorate 24 small pine trees with ornaments they made. The trees will be exhibited at the Adven Fair. 3.00 p.m. - 5.0 p.m. DuoTrio Street theatre at the Advent Fair The DuoTrio Street Theatre improvises its performances from stories inspired by the audience, with the active participation of the general public.
