A number of improvements will be launched in Vargakert from next week, which aim to improve the comfort and safety of residents among others.
A music and dance performance by the current kindergarteners kicked off the children’s day at Közép Utcai Kindergarten. The event was open not only to current and future kindergarteners and their families, but also to the residents of Vargakert.
At the event, Mayor László Papp said that the kindergarten is a real team-building, community-building institution for the district. “ Community life is very important because it provides a space and an opportunity for communication, meeting and feedback. We always talk to people a lot and they make many suggestions, requests and questions, which we are then able to incorporate into city policy,” he emphasised.
A candidate for local government, Zoltán Piros said that from the following week, a number of improvements would be launched in Vargakert, which will not only improve the well-being of residents but also make transport safer. “An important development will be the creation of a playground in the neighbourhood, there are a lot of young couples and families living in the area and this will be a development aimed at these groups,” the candidate for the local government seat added.
On the occasion of the upcoming Children’s Day, László Papp also brought a gift for the kindergarten children, namely 200 tickets to Debrecen Zoo.
