On the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture, an exhibition was opened in the Borsos Villa. The exhibition of Holló László Prize-winning artist Éva Nuridsány can be viewed at the Vénkert community centre until the beginning of March.
The exhibition ‘Dimensions’ gives a taste of the artist’s rich oeuvre, born in Csíkszereda and living in Debrecen for more than four decades.
‘The jewel of the Vénkert is the DEMKI Borsos villa, which hosts the exhibition. This institution is just one of the recently renovated public spaces in Debrecen, which host countless forms of culture and social life and offer opportunities to introduce themselves in every part of the city,’ Deputy Mayor István Puskás said regarding the opening of the exhibition.
‘The primary function of these community centres is to offer opportunities and space for activities for small communities in the given city district. But it is essential to include activities such as this exhibition or a concert, which traditionally take place in large downtown institutions, ’ István Puskás stressed at the opening.
