Last year, the Campus Festival in Debrecen was one of Hungary’s most significant summer cultural events, with 121,000 participants.
This year’s Campus Festival already features two global stars, including one of the most successful R&B singer-songwriters, Jason Derulo, who has 65 million followers on TikTok. The American star has worked with artists like Nicki Minaj, David Guetta and Pitbull.
Alongside Jason Derulo, American electropop duo The Chainsmokers will also be in Debrecen. They have countless hits such as “Something Just Like This”, “Closer”, “Don’t Let Me Down”, “Parsi” and “SELFIE”. They have also won numerous awards, including Grammy, American Music Award, Billboard Music Award, iHeart Radio Music Award and many more.
Similar to previous years, the lineup is extensive, as evidenced by the more than 40 names announced last December.
There won’t be a style or musical subculture that the popular music programme doesn’t cover in some way. The full line-up will consist of hundreds of acts, with local musicians and players from the popular music industry taking centre stage alongside national icons.
For a decade and a half, the Campus Festival has been working to create a safe, family-friendly cultural festival for all ages.
