On 21st of September 2023 (Thursday) from 8:30 a.m. – after the peak traffic period – the contractor will mill the asphalt wearing course and lay the new wearing course on the section between Szabó Lőrinc Street 3 and József Attila Street (on the side facing the Honvédség) after local road structure and kerb replacement.

During the road repair works, the pavement will be closed for half the width of the carriageway. On the remaining lane, one-way traffic will be introduced from Füredi Road towards József Attila Street.

The road section affected by the construction work can be avoided from the direction of Vezér Street via Akadémia Street, Babits Mihály Street and József Attila Street.

The DKV Zrt. 14 and 14I buses of the DKV Transit Authority will use the detour route. To facilitate public transport in the morning, the number of services will be increased in the early morning hours on weekdays. The contractor will operate the four early bus services under signal control on the one-way section of the route in the direction of Csigekert Street.

Thus, on weekday mornings, the 6:45 a.m., 6:50 a.m. (relief service), 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. buses departing from Rugó Street will follow the original route to Csigekert Street. Subsequent services will run towards Böszörményi Road, using Akadémia Street. For more information, please visit www.dkv.hu.

The works are expected to take two weeks, depending on weather conditions.

During the roadworks, road users are asked to follow the temporary road signs and to avoid the roadworks if possible.
