The Tax Department of the Mayor’s Office of the City of Debrecen has started to deliver the balance notices to help you meet your local tax obligations for the second half of 2023.
Individuals who have not opted for electronic communication by the date of the balance notice will receive a notice by post.
Individuals and self-employed persons who have registered for electronic communication will receive the letter on the Client Gateway (Ügyfélkapu) and companies on the Company Gateway.
Tax payments for the second half of the year can be made until the 15th of September 2023, free of late payment penalty.
Cheques for payment of the obligation will be enclosed only with the notices delivered by post. The Tax Department reminds us that everyone can settle the tax liability by means of a transaction considered a credit card purchase through the eGovernment portal using the EAFER system.
