Services for the county’s restaurants and retailers have been improved while taking sustainability and environmental protection into account, for example by using LED lighting or improving the refrigeration system.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on 6 June 2024, Mayor László Papp said that Metro is one of Debrecen’s largest employers in the retail sector. He added that every development means that they are positive about the future and have confidence in the city.
