There are more than a thousand parcel machines nationwide, of which forty are now operating both night and day in our city.
Based on the experience and data utilisation, GLS has installed two more GLS vending machines in Debrecen. The outdoor collection points serve the needs of the population non-stop.
GLS Hungary has previously stated that its priority is to make GLS flexible services available to as many people as possible, regardless of their address, and the GLS ATM network is an important element of this. The company’s scheduled network expansion strategy has enabled intensive work, successfully installing around 800 new parcel machines in the last year alone. This brings the total number of machines available nationwide to more than 1,050, of which 40 are now in operation in Debrecen.
The company has continuously monitored the saturation of the previous parcel machines, and on the basis of the data, it has decided that additional machines are needed in the municipality in order to serve the needs of the population of Debrecen to the maximum.
The new GLS machines are located at 130 Monostorpályi Road and 25 Ruyter Street.
The company has placed the devices outside the premises in order to ensure that they are available 24 hours a day so that parcels can be easily picked up and dropped off on the way to work early in the morning or late at night on the way home. It is also important that GLS will store parcels awaiting collection in the vending machine for 5 working days to ensure that the recipient has time to collect them.
