The 18th edition of the international conference is being held on the 18th and 19th of April at the Kölcsey Centre.
The presentations focus on the economic situation in Debrecen, the future of energy production and sustainability. The two-day programme introduces participants to new opportunities and market challenges in the energy sector.
Deputy Mayor of Debrecen Lajos Barcsa said at the opening of the event that energy policy challenges are also key due to the war, but Debrecen’s security of supply has increased significantly in recent times.
“In parallel with the industrial park developments, these developments also serve the security of supply of the population, so locally we are doing well. Nationally, we must continue to pursue the anti-war policy to ensure that the country’s security of supply is also in order,” he said.
