Local services
The aim was to put more emphasis on the integration of students of different nationalities at the institution.
An orientation day was organised for foreign students at the University of Debrecen’s Böszörményi Road campus. Students also had the chance to decorate traditional gingerbread.
Not only did they learn about Hungarian culture, but they also introduced the new students to the university and the services and opportunities offered by the city. Experience has shown that students from different countries often feel lost, and the programme was designed to help alleviate this.
For the first time, the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences and the Faculty of Economics organized the Orientation Day.
