On Saturday, the 20th of July, the audience will hear excerpts from the works of the greatest Hungarian composers in a nearly 80-minute concert. On 20 July, Coopera's highly successful Hungarikum Gala Concert, which has become a tradition in Debrecen, will return to the Nagyerdei Open-Air Stage. The nearly 80-minute concert featuring more than 100 stage performers, will evoke cultural values through our musical traditions and promises to be an unforgettable summer experience. (Hungarikum is a generic term that denotes a value worthy of distinction, worthy of highlighting, which, with its characteristic features, uniqueness, distinctiveness and quality, is the peak achievement of Hungarians.) The concert will feature excerpts from the works of our greatest Hungarian composers evoking the best-known melodies of Béla Bartók, Ferenc Erkel, Zoltán Kodály and Imre Kálmán, among others.
