The photo-documentary exhibition “The chosen hero of the Virgin Mary” will open in the Partium Ház on the 14th of February, from 5 p.m.
King Saint László is the patron saint of the Diocese of Debrecen-Nyíregyháza, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023.
The exhibition presents the photo-documentary collection of Katalin Varsányi. The nearly 300 photographs in the exhibition are from the last 18 years of the collector’s travels, photographed in 117 locations.
A piece of the relic of the bone of Saint László and the horn of King Saint László will be exhibited at the exhibition, thanks to the municipality of Újiráz and Kisvárda.
The exhibition will be opened by the Bishop of the Debrecen-Nyíregyháza Diocese, Ferenc Palánki.
Greeting speeches will be given by Deputy Mayor István Puskás and historian, associate professor, Ferenc Velkey.
