Mayor László Papp is proposing to the city council that the city apply for EU funds to modernise three more kindergartens and three medical practices in Debrecen.
The plans, as presented, are as follows:
1. Development of Görgey Street Kindergarten
The institution has already undergone an energy modernisation, which did not affect the kindergarten’s equipment and playgrounds. The project could include a complete renovation of the playgrounds, which includes the renewal of green areas, the replacement of the coverings, and the purchase and installation of yard toys.
2. Complex renovation of Szoboszlói Road Kindergarten
The development would also mean the complete renovation and expansion of the building, which includes external thermal insulation, asbestos removal, renovation of the building’s mechanical and electrical network, accessibility, yard layout and expansion, as well as functional internal transformation and the minimum expansion necessary for the comfortable operation of the group rooms.
3. Kemény Zsigmond Street Kindergarten Complex
The project includes the planned modernisation of the building from an energy perspective, including the thermal and waterproofing of the boundary structures. The building’s electrical network, mechanical systems and utility network will be reviewed and replaced as necessary, shading, sun protection will be examined and designed. The building will be made accessible in accordance with the project, existing elevators will be rebuilt and barrier-free toilets will be designed. The premises will also be fully renovated with replacement of cladding, painting, replacement of sanitary facilities and internal windows and doors. In accordance with functional needs, internal transformations, relocation of partitions, opening up of spaces, and a full review of the built-in furniture and replacement as necessary will also be implemented. The cladding in the yard will be replaced, landscaping will be done, and outdated outdoor elements will be renovated and replaced. A parking lot and barrier-free parking lot are also planned.
4. Complex renovation of the medical practice at 6 Alsójózsai Street
The complete energy modernisation of the building will be carried out, including the thermal and water insulation of the boundary structures. The building’s electrical network will be reviewed and replaced where necessary, and shading and anti-fogging will be designed and installed. The building’s heating system, all mechanical systems and utilities will be reviewed and, if necessary, renovated or replaced. The possibility of using renewable energy sources is also being assessed. The building will be made accessible in line with the project, with accessible toilets and barrier-free parking. A complete refurbishment of the premises is planned, including replacement of tiling, painting, sanitary installations and internal windows and doors. Interior alterations, relocation of partition walls, narrowing of spaces according to functional needs, as well as a complete overhaul of the built-in furniture and replacement where necessary, will also be carried out. The courtyard will be paved and landscaped. Parking and bicycle storage are planned.
5. Complex renovation of the Haláp medical practice
The building will be fully energy-efficiently modernised, including thermal and waterproofing of the boundary structures. The building’s electrical network will be reviewed and replaced if necessary, as well as shading and sun protection will be designed and developed. The building’s heating system, complete mechanical system, and utility system will be reviewed and, if necessary, renovated or replaced. The possibility of using renewable energy sources will be assessed. The building will be made accessible according to the project, and barrier-free toilets and barrier-free parking will be created. The premises will be fully renovated with planned replacement of cladding, painting, replacement of sanitary facilities, and interior doors and windows. In accordance with functional needs, internal transformations, relocation of partitions, opening up of spaces, and a full review of built-in furniture, if necessary, will also be implemented. The cladding in the yard will be replaced and landscaping will be carried out. A parking lot and bicycle storage facility are planned.
6. Renovation of the Földi János Street medical practice
The building will be fully energy-efficiently modernised, including thermal and waterproofing of the boundary structures. The building’s electrical network will be reviewed and replaced if necessary, as well as shading and sun protection will be designed and developed. The building’s heating system, complete mechanical system, and utility system will be reviewed and, if necessary, renovated or replaced. The possibility of using renewable energy sources will be assessed. The building will be made accessible according to the project, and barrier-free toilets and barrier-free parking will be created. The premises will be fully renovated with planned replacement of the cladding, painting, and replacement of sanitary ware and interior doors and windows. In accordance with functional needs, internal transformations, relocation of partitions, opening up of spaces, and a full review and replacement of built-in furniture will also be implemented. The yard will be paved and landscaped. A parking lot and bicycle storage are planned.
The general assembly will decide on the submission of applications at its meeting on Thursday.
