The construction of the roundabout on Gázvezeték Street near Kanális Street will begin as part of Phase II of Mandolás Street.
From the 19th of March 2025, the contractor will reduce the through capacity of Gázvezeték Street to one lane in the affected section. Traffic will be controlled in one lane with temporarily installed traffic signals, and the side roads of Kanális Street will be closed at Gázvezeték Street.
This is necessary because the contractor can build the appropriate utility interchanges and road construction sections on the north and south sides of the roundabout simultaneously, significantly shortening the construction time.
Drivers are requested to drive with increased caution and by the temporary traffic order on the affected road section and to avoid it if possible.
